An Updated Message Regarding: In-Person Worship Services

Updated Status as of Thursday, April 8, 2021 - 4:00pm
As a community of faith, we have decided to begin limited in-person services (effective Sunday, November 1, 2020 at 10:00am).  The following guidelines  details our plan to safely begin limited attendance in-person worship services. While maintaining the opportunity to live stream the service via our church app, church website and Facebook Live.

We strongly encourage any member/visitor who are part of any "high risk" category to remain part of our online congregation.  In order for us to begin and continue limited in-person worship; everyone must follow our safety guidance and instructions. This guide was created in accordance with guidelines suggested by the CDC (Centers for Disease Control).

Date of Re-entry: Limited in-person services will begin Sunday, November 1, 2020 at 10:00am.  Please note we will observe one service time until further notice. Limited in-person service will include worship in our main sanctuary and youth worship services (pre-school to 12th grade).  There will be no childcare provided for infants, auxiliary classes or meetings.

In-Person Instructions
  • Entering & Exiting: We will have two designated entrances/exits (front of building/rear of building) available during this time. Entrances will be held or propped open for worshippers.  All side doors will remain locked at this time.
  • Temperature Checks: All in-person worshippers over the age 11 must submit to have their temperature taken upon entry.  Those who exhibit any sign of temperature will be asked to return home.
  • Face Masks: Masks must be worn by all congregants at all times (ages 11 & up).  Masks should be covering your mouth and nose. Masks will be available for anyone who does not have one.
  • Social Distancing: Social distancing rules will be strongly encouraged.  Please do not congregate in hallways, the worship center, bathrooms, entrances or in the parking lot.
  • Seating: Seating has been designed to limit the number of worshippers and the distance between worshippers. Worshippers are asked to only sit with those who reside in the same household.

HERE'S WHAT WE'RE DOING TO KEEP YOU SAFE:
  • Hand sanitizer stations will be at all entrances/exits of the church building.
  • Social distancing will be strongly encouraged; prohibiting congregating and fellowshipping on the church campus.
  • The church worship service will be dismissed from back of the sanctuary to the front.  This  to limit crowding at all entrances/exits.
  • Masks must be worn by all congregants ages 11 & up.  We will provide one for anyone who does not have one.
  • Masks and gloves will be worn by all serving leaders and church team members.
  • Bathrooms (including common surfaces, handles) will be sanitized every 15-20 minutes.
  • The church sanctuary, youth areas, common areas, bathrooms, doors, and door handles will be throughly sanitized before and after each  worship service.
  • Virtual worship will remain part of our worship experience offering.  Services will air "live" each Sunday at 10:00am on Facebook Live, the church app and our church website. The service will then rebroadcast on Facebook at 6pm on Sundays.  Additionally, the worship service will be available "on-demand" via our church app and church website shortly after the live broadcast has ended.

HERE'S WHAT WE'RE ASKING YOU TO DO TO REMAIN SAFE:
  • All members/visitors who fall into any "high risk" category (older adults, people of any age who have serious underlying medical conditions) as described by the CDC are asked to continue joining us virtually.
  • If you feel sick (headache, chills, fever, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea) - please stay home.
  • If you have recently tested positive, have been in contact with anyone who has tested positive or have been taking care of anyone who is COVID positive - please stay home.
  • Please abide by our guidelines while on the church campus.  Wear a mask (properly covering your mouth/nose at all times) and be properly socially distanced.
